Fruit & Veggie Colour Schemes Promotional Postcards |
Fruits & Veggies are a series of informational postcards designed to promote healthy eating in local grocery stores. Each card features a smooth vector drawing of a particular fruit or vegetable, as well as the unique health benefits that each fruit or vegetable offers. For an added twist, vibrant colours part of four different colour schemes are used to further entice grocery shoppers into making healthier choices in their everyday lives. The final postcards measure 5"x7" and were printed on 85lb white card stock. Type of Work Illustration Typography |
Monochromatic Avocado Achieved by using yellow-green at various shades, tints and opacities (black and white in addition to one colour on the colour wheel). 
Split-Complementary Grapefruit Achieved by using blue-violet, orange and yellow at various tints (colours that form a triangle on the colour wheel). |
Complementary Cucumber Achieved by using green and magenta (colours directly across each other on the colour wheel) at various shades, tints and opacities. 
Analogous Onion Achieved by using violet and red-violet at various shades, tints and opacities (colours directly beside each other on the colour wheel). |
